- Blue Ribbon/Chalky/Pearly means any model that has a blue ribbon sticker, a painted white base coat (appears chalky), or is made of pearly plastic (shimmery/pearly base coat). These are made of an experimental plastic in the 1970s that is different from the pearlescent paint that Breyer has used recently, and must show only in this class.
