Coats of Many Colors Stampede - concluded

WOW everyone, you all made judging so tough on this one!

So many gorgeous horses I could have pinned to the top 15 in many classes, we were really splitting hairs here! So congrats to all whether you were champion or grabbed an 8th in a large class (or even just for entering, these classes didn't have a bad looking horse in them!)

I'd love to know what kinds of classes you want to see more of, I'll be planning a mid-summer show and am open to your thoughts! I'm generally best with halter and workmanship, but have dabbled with performance too. My only area I probably wouldn't be comfortable judging in is collectibility, so throw those class wish lists at me!

Thanks so much. Really enjoyed the show! :D

As for my general feedback on future shows, I love to see a variety of halter classes, especially if classes are being limited to only 3 entries each. For instance, classes for QH, Appaloosa, Paint, Mustang, etc. instead of just an open Stock class, or separate classes for UK Draft, Euro Draft, American Draft, Other Draft (etc.) instead of an open Draft class. Same with Sport classes. Also like it when the host doesn't forget classes for (or to include) rubber/PVC and Other Makes. Oh, and separate Foal classes!

I also tend to zero in on shows that include custom and AR divisions/sections and are not for OF only.

Hope this is helpful!
