Does anyone have experience/tips in live showing Schleich horses?

Recently I've been thinking about live showing some of my Schleich models and I would like to know if any of you have done that before and what your experience was like, as well as how Schleich models generally do in live shows. I would also like to inquire if the standard Schleich tack is recommended or if I'd have to purchase something more realistic. Also, how many models would I need to bring? I've heard it's 15 models minimum, although I'm just not sure.
