Thoughts on the breyerfest 2025 Models??

I just wanted pop on here and ask what are your opinions on the breyerfest 2025 models and what are some guesses on the surprise horse?

I love the celebration horse, Tight Lines! I bought my ticket the day they went on sale and I got the online traditional access as I am unable to attend in-person right now. I love Let The Good Times Roll and Future Is Bright. I also like the mare and foal set and Yolo. I will definitely be trying to get a surprise horse. My guesses are PAM, Fireheart, Troubadour, Totilas (my favourite mould and the one I want it to be the most) and Valegro! I love most of the Limited Edition models. I hope to get Halcyonia Night Life, The Best Of Breyerfest set, Hooplah, Shindig, Party Pal, and Beau 'N Arrow. I like the idea of the crystal models, but they would scare me to death if I bought any. Plus I'm not a huge fan of the ASB mould as it is. So I am probably going to try and get a surprise horse, the mare and foal set, Let The Good Times Roll, Future Is Bright, Halcyonia Night Life, Shindig, Party Pal, The Best Of Breyerfest set, Hooplah and maybe Beau 'N Arrow.

The only one I'm likely to find at an affordable price on the second-hand market in my country is the Celebration model, but luckily I like the mould/colour combo enough that I'll happily buy him if I get chance!

I checked my own photo folders and I saw and photographed Tight Lines competing at Burghley Horse Trials - this will be the fourth event horse I've watched in person before they became a Breyer (after Headley Britannia, Michael Jung's Sam, and Ballinoe Castle who was also a Celebration model)

The black welsh cob and the pinto jumper are also very nice, and suit my taste in models, but not likely to end up in my collection cos of the cost.

Halcyonia will be a must for me as will Yolo...

I really want Future is Bright but really prefer him with the long mane.

I avoid modern glossies in most cases which rules out several others. Not a huge fan of the Croi mold.

I don't know what criteria they use in determining the Surprise. I would kind of think something vintage because of the anniversary.

Looking back at what I said here pre-Breyerfest, turns out I did get two out of the three models I said I liked (Celebration model Tight Lines, plus the spotted Showjumping Warmblood Let The Good Times Roll), and also the pinto jumping horse Hoopla because one came up affordably on ebay over here, a few weeks after the event.

Wonder if anyone else's eventual purchases did match what you initially hoped or predicted you'd buy, or turned out very different?

I ended up with almost matching purchases. I said I was going to try getting the mare and foal set, a surprise, Hoopla, Ace, best of breyerfest, Shindig,Let The Good Times Roll, Beau n Arrow, Future Is Bright, Party pal and Yolo. The only ones of those I ended up not getting were future Is Bright and yolo. And with the surprise being Totilas, my favourite mould ever, I made it a goal to get all ten. I ended up pulling the blue pompom Party Pal, realistic Shindig, matte braided Let The Good Times Roll, matte hoopla and a glossy grey surprise. Beau n Arrow, Good Times and Great Friends and 3 surprise horses I got in the second chance sale. My great friends glows in the dark and with the surprise models I pulled the matte grey, another glossy grey (for sale) and the glossy sooty palomino. I got the blue roan, the glossy silver bay, matte sooty palomino, matte palomino pinto and glossy hoopla second hand. I have 3 surprise horses left to get (matte silver bay, glossy palomino pinto and the decorator)
