Thoughts on the BreyerFest 2026 models?

So since it’s the week before BreyerFest I thought I’d ask about opinions on the BreyerFest 2026 models along with guesses on the surprise horse.

im getting an online traditional ticket this year (same as last year) since I live a long way from Kentucky so I can’t go in person although I would love to go there in person some day.

for the event models I love corgi hill Flinka and i have to say she’s probably in my top five celebration models ever. I always liked zorah belle but what kept me from buying her was that she was too orange for me and corgi hill is right up my alley since fjords are one of my favourite breeds. For the event models I, like most people, don’t like Uppsala since the colours just clash for me. However unlike most people I love Keflavik because I love the mould and the colour combo. I love Copenhagen and Helsinki too.

for limited edition models I unfortunately like most of them.m, however will be buying quite a few second hand due to not having saved enough money to buy everything I want 😅 I love the mould for oyjvind and since it’s a new mould and I predict he’ll be expensive second hand I’ll be getting him straight from Breyer. I love Pyxis so much however since he’s an Appaloosa and is likely to have masking issues I’ll be buying him second hand if I can find one at cost. For vindur I love the mould but however what’s keeping me from buying him is I see the mane having masking issues again, plus I’m not a massive fan of when Breyer does faded socks so I will get him second hand. For skogafoss I don’t like the mould and I don’t collect crystals. For dalarna I love the concept but something isn’t doing it for me and I don’t collect classics. Uff da I love and I’ll be getting him from Breyer since I’m congaing his mould. Bob I like all of them but will get them second hand. My favourite is the kit. I love Hygge so I’ll try and get him. And I love Blom so much I need it so I’ll get it definitely.

for srs I am obsessed with Oseberg since I love a good seal bay and I love othello too, so he’s first on my list. Second is thingvellir who I loooove and I know a lot of people don’t like the mould but I do so he’s second. Third is the surprise. Fourth is litha since I won’t be mad if I get him but since I’m not a big ethereal person I’d rather not, plus the deco reminds me too much of the shindig deco from last year but I do prefer this years litha deco strangely. The wanderer is last since I love the concept I’m just not a massive fireheart person. I will probably get him second hand if he comes up for under 120 since I am a massive fan of Norse and Scandinavian mythology (being part Scandinavian myself).

for in person srs I love love love midnatssol and once he comes up for the right price I will absolutely buy him. I like the mare and foal but I prefer the foal over the mare like a few people I’ve seen. I love the mules colour but I am not a huge fan of the mould so if I find the bell tail version for cheap then I’ll buy her. For the deer if I find him for under 100 then I’ll get him since he amuses me 😂

for surprise guesses I think it’s bluegrass bandit or Vermeer but I’m hoping it’s not a mould I like having gotten whammied last year with totilas which is my favourite mould. Thanks Breyer lol. I have almost a full set missing glossy palomino pinto, deco and matte silver bay! I was so relieved when they revealed Valegro as an auction model meaning he won’t be the surprise. Now to hope it’s not salinero (if you can’t tell my favourite breed type is warmbloods 😂

I haven't studied them enough to memorise the names, but I really like the Celebration fjord and will definitely try to get her when they start to show up on the second-hand market in the UK. But I fear it might be much harder to nab one this year, with it being a popular mould - the less people like the Celebration model, the easier they are to buy all the way over here, too!

Also love the look of the spotted warmblood and silver-black Icelandic, and would happily add either of those to my collection if the chance for a reasonably priced buy-it-now comes up on UK ebay. And I have a feeling the pinto Welsh cob and bay Highland pony may well grow on me when we see 'real' photos. I'd like the Othello much more if he had white markings, I'm too involved with UK heavy horses for my mind to accept the sight of four black legs on a shire/clydesdale-looking model, hahah!

From the Stablemates, my favourite is the realistic colour version of the Icelandic, but also like the palomino Mirado from the Best of Breyerfest boxed set

Fellow uk person here so I feel your pain! I was originally going to only get a stablemates ticket but then I realised that I liked the celebration model and srs enough to buy a trad one.

im not sure which trad portrait horses I’ll get yet but im probably going to get the Icelandic second hand if a decent copy comes up for near cost.
I know what you mean with the othello but othello is one of my favourite moulds so I have to get him since I love seal bays and I’m an othello person all the way 😂 I also love draft horses too so that horse was my utter weakness haha. I loved the blue roan guy too much to not get him since his mould is another of my favourites-overall Breyer did too much stuff I like this year haha.

admittedly I wasn’t a fan of the Mirado when Breyer revealed him despite liking the mould but then looked on IDYB and he immediately grew in me since the photos of the one on IDYB looked so much better than the promo photos. I will probably end up buying all of the bob guys second hand since I want to get good copies as they’ll be show horses for me! I like the deco Icelandic and I’m almost hoping for him despite not being a massive deco person since if I decide I like him once in hand photo surface then he’ll be super expensive second hand (at least compared to the realistic version)

Midnattsol, Helsinki and Ojvind will be the ones I'm looking for right away, and I also wouldn't say no to the mare and foal set. I didn't get tickets this year so it will all be after the fact. Kind of hoping the Surprise is on a mold that I don't like.

And Uff Da, forgot about him -- might as well keep the conga going...

I wouldn’t mind the surprise being Vermeer since I’m not a massive fan of him but there’s normally at least one or two colours I like for the surprise so I’m hoping that it won’t be salinero (although I doubt it will be since he’s a warmblood with a stand and looks a biiit too similar to totilas).

i only have ace for my llwellyn conga so far but I looooove the original and surfers riptide so I’m hoping to find them for a decent price
