The Exmoor pony is a breed of pony (or small horse, depending on source) native to the British Isles. There is a small number of Exmoor ponies that still live mostly feral on the moorlands of southwest England. The breed is very old, and is currently in a critical conservation state. Exmoor ponies come in many shades of bay, and all exhibit mealy/pangare traits. They should not have any white markings. The Exmoor pony is stocky and hardy, with strong hooves, short legs, and small ears. They exhibit long, thick manes and tails, and a fluffy winter coat.
