Customised from Breyer's 'Cadell' Dartmoor Hill Ponies are a population of mixed breed/grade ponies *separate* from the 'purebred' Dartmoor. They originated with stock turned out for common grazing. The Hill Pony Society still exists, allowing members to continue to exercise their rights to graze ponies on the hill (The Dartmoor Hill Pony Association (DHPA).
