In 2005, the splash pattern was discovered in the Morgan breed with the mare Shahaylee (Marvelous Intrigue x Marvelous Pophecy), and registration is permitted with the repeal of the white rule. Splash white horses tend to look as though they were dipped feet-first into a bucket of paint, with crisp markings.
