Custom portrait of grey Thoroughbred stallion Seize The Grey under tack as the 2024 Preakness winner, with jockey Jaime Torres aboard. Base model is the Breyer Stablemate scale American Pharoah ornament. Note that the gold strand in the photos is the ornament hanger. Custom paint, jockey silks and Preakness saddlecloth detail done by Sue Kern Thompson of Sakori Customs. Artist granted permission to use her photos with her watermark in lower right.

- Seize The Grey (Arrogate x Smart Shopping by Smart Strike) wins the 2024 Preakness, 2nd jewel of the Triple Crown, defeating Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan and giving jockey Jaime Torres his first Grade 1 win. Seize The Grey was one of the last foals produced by the great Arrogate, who died of a spinal disorder in June 2020. He was trained by the legendary D. Wayne Lukas, and was his last Triple Crown race winner at age 88, before Mr. Lukas passed in June 2025.
