- The Sugarbush Draft originated in America, and the official registry is the ASHDA (American Sugarbush Harlequin Draft Association). They are generally 15.2-17 hh. Any base color is acceptable, with LP (leopard complex) being preferable including full leopard, extended leopard, blanket, and snowflake, but a pattern is not required if the horse meets bloodline and conformation requirements of the breed.
