British Riding Ponies can be any solid color, including bay, black, brown, chestnut, dun, cream and gray. All colors are allowed, but they should be of good quality and true pony character. The breed standard permits white markings on the head and legs, but does not permit certain spotted patterns like piebalds and skewbalds.
