BREED: Horses of all bloodlines are eligible for registration as American Warmbloods, if they are of a sport horse or warmblood type, and are able to meet the studbook selection or performance criteria. Reference link: Link COLOR: Pearl - A recessive dilution gene at the same locus as the cream gene, somewhat resembling the cream gene and champagne gene. It's a rare dilution found in the American Quarter Horse, American Paint Horse, Peruvian Paso, Lusitano and PRE or Andalusian. When there are two copies, it lightens red coats to a pale, uniform apricot color that includes body, mane and tail and creates pale skin and amber eyes. It was previously referred to as the "apricot" gene. Reference link: Link Model reference: (Stone doesn't issue COAs) Link
