Heatwave Workmanship Workout
Boy is it hot around here! Welcome to my first ever paid show! This show has a $5 entry fee which I will be using to fund future free OMHPS shows now that I am a stay-at-home mom. I love hosting shows but without a paying job, I will be trying this to fund them! I do really hope you find this show well worth the entry fee. I've tried to think up some unique classes so that you can really work your magic in the classes! If I get at least 10 paid entrants, I will give each division champion owner free entry into my next paid show (after my free show rotation has run its course). There is no entry limit per class or total for the show. Each horse can enter 1 color or pattern class, 1 sculpt class, 1 medium class, and 1 theme class for a maximum of 4 entries per model. Please do not enter the model in two of the same class type and check the descriptions to be sure your model fits where you're putting it! Send the $5 via F&F to shelbyrorrer@yahoo.com with your OMHPS username to be added!
1. No AI or heavy digital editing of photos. Do not digitally remove background or replace the real background with something else. 2. Workmanship is judged based on detail and realism in the work, but photo quality does have an effect. A blurry or dark photo may hide detail that could be seen in person. 3. All classes are for Artist resin and customs except the sculpture classes which are for customs only. 4. Be kind to other entrants, if you have any questions about your placing please feel free to reach out. I take notes about my entries. 5. Please double check that you're entering the right class! Especially in the multiple dilutions class, double cream has its own class but a silver buckskin would be perfect for that class.
This show has a private list of entrants that are allowed to enter.

Models made in a Faux OF style. Airbrushed base color with bare plastic white markings. May or may not have pinking on the nose. Base color must be custom, not etched from an OF model!

Models with primarily oil paint paintjobs! There may be some minor mixed media but predominantly oil.

Models painted with predominantly airbrush. Details can be hand painted on. Though these can be similar to faux OF, the white markings are not bare plastic.

I know it's practically impossible for a custom to be 100% soft pastel. This class is for models with majority soft pastels. Eyes, small details, and small white markings can go here. If you paint on your white markings with acrylic, please no more than a white blaze and stockings. No painted mane and tail for this class either. Majority soft pastels!

Anything that is not what you'd see on a normal horse. It can be a normal horse with some custom sculpt work and a decorator paint job though!

The most fun stablemate customizing pastime! Not limited to stablemates! Anything with a totally new head/neck on a body that it did not come with.

Something that is still mostly recognizable as the original sculpt. Can have a new mane/tail, ear change and simple heat gun leg repositioning. But nothing too big that you can't tell what it started as.

Foals can be such interesting colors when they're little. Anything from the lighter legs on a bay, mousey grey of a future black, or the hyperpigmentation and grey goggles of a future dapple grey. Shedding sunburnt foal coats are also allowed!
