Photo not Valid?

Sunday, September 21, 2025 5:34 PM

I'm trying to add a new model (which I've done countless times, I've been on here a couple years now), and it won't let me. It keeps telling me that the image isn't valid. I don't know what that means. I'm doing it the same way I've always done it, and it's not too big.

Here's exactly what's coming up in red at the top of the page: Image (horse image) file must be a valid image.

This is happening to me too as I try to add some new photos I took today, just now.

*Occasionally* I've had where I tried to save a file too fast or something and it didn't save properly and I get this message, but this is happening with every photo, and I was able to post one to social media as an experiment.

They are all .jpg

So it's something with the site, I think.

I started seeing this message this afternoon when I tried to replace a photo of an existing model.

We are currently working on fixing this - it is a bug, so not an issue with any photos or anything. We will update everyone when it's fixed :)

EDIT: This has been fixed!

As of right now new images are saying "image unavailable" and to refresh, but refreshing isn't helping.

Been having the same problem. Just now after I clicked upload I got a message that the website was unavailable or may have moved.

Thank you for working to fix the issue 👍

Today I was able to load reference photos when I edited my model. Thanks so much for fixing the issue : )

I'm still not able to add an alternate picture -- it says "image unavailable, refresh" but refreshing doesn't help.

I'm also still having the "image unavailable, refresh" issue today on all photos I've added today.

Thanks for your work on this Admins!!

I've been working with them on the same issue, except that my photos are being accepted (and I can see them in the edit mode) but once I save the edits and go to the model page, I get the image unavailable/refresh page message. I thought originally it was a problem uploading from my iPad (haven't done that before) but apparently not. I'm sure they're working to get this bug resolved.

I think I found the cause. There was something going wrong with the transfer of images on the background, causing errors when trying to compress and add watermarks. Apparently there are some network-level restrictions I was not aware of. I made some changes, and now everything should be back on the same domain.

If you reset your local cache, all images should load just fine. The cache should also reset itsself after 1209600 seconds (2 weeks ;). Either way, no need to reupload anything!

Still having the same issue (after deleting the cache and cookies on my system)... sorry...

Actually it might not be solved yet. Looking into it further!

There was a problem with watermark generation. Should be fixed once everyone's DNS has updated (switched back from linux to windows hosting). Caching might still be messed up though, and in some cases image reupload might be helpful.

If anyone still has images they can't get to load after a few hours, please let me know

Thanks so much! Mine seems to be fixed now. Is it okay to edit and upload additional images at this time, or would it be a better idea to wait?

You should be good to go, no need to wait :)
