Thoughts on the 2026 Breyer releases?

Just thought I'd come on here to ask how everyone feels about the 2026 Breyer regular runs! I personally LOVE Pluto Gratia, Kiss Me Kate and the Newsworthy flagship model. I live in a country where Breyer stopped shipping to recently as the distributor stopped their partnership but a store that I buy from regularly has said that they will probably be able to buy the models from a distributor in another country so I will be looking out for that. For stablemates I unfortunately love most of the new releases, especially the mountain Ranch set and the new assortment. My sister doesn't collect but love the Traditional scale and stablemate scale Othello moulds. She also likes blue horses and decorators, she has 1 blue horse in every scale (Liberty in traditional, High Tide in classic, the blue othello from last year's brilliance gift set in stablemate and the series 1 mystery barn surprise chase piece in mini whinnie) but she is looking to add more so there are lots of releases for her to get this year!

Do you have a link to the new releases, so I can take a look?

Triple mountain have all of them on their website for preorder, but Breyer also have them on their website. I'd recommend looking at triple mountain instead of Breyer as they have everything, including the ornaments, whereas Breyer only has the traditionals and stablemates.

I really like a lot of the 2026 models, my wishlist is much longer than previous years!

Out of the Traditionals, I can't really pick a favourite between the Lipizzaner (lovely dynamic mould in the classic colour, a must-have!), the pinto Saddlebred (I've only got the chestnut so far, so a flashier colour is great for me), and the grey Criollo (love the breed, love the amount of detail they've given his paintwork design, and hurrah for the correctly trimmed mane!) I'll be getting all three of those eventually, for sure. I'm a bit less keen on the black cob, so she's just a 'maybe' - nothing against the breed or the mould, just because I find Breyer's black paintjobs overly plain these days, I'd have preferred if she'd had some shading. The Quarter Horse has nice markings but I've never really taken to that mould.

Classics I don't really collect in a big way, but I do like the rearing chestnut mustang so he's a maybe.

Have to admit I've pre-ordered all the Stablemates already, they're not even in stock in Europe yet but I wanted to get my name into the 'waiting list' just so I know I'll get them at all - over here this scale seem to be very briefly in stock then sold out for a really long time, with some never coming back around at all. Between short supplies and so many of them being special runs for stores which don't even exist in other countries, it seems MUCH harder to collect this scale outside the USA!
My favourites are probably the grey walking TB, pinto warmblood, black Django friesian (at last!), the roan in the ranch pack, the rose grey and buckskin family set, and the pinto mini-Georg drafter.

I don't do fantasy or decorator or ornament, or rider sets, so the other releases aren't my cup of tea, but I'm pleased with the amount of 'normal' releases there are this year - it seems a much better balance of decorator vs real colours than we got in 2025! :)

The lipizanner and Gambit are definitely my favourites and the only ones I really 'need'. When Adonis was released I decided I didn't like the mould, however Fight Song was then released and I decided I did like the mould, I just didn't like Adonis. I personally really like the black mare, I just wish her socks were crisp and not faded. I love the pinto saddlebred (annoying for me as Hamilton is probably my least favourite mould) as the colour is amazing 🤩 I like Yan Wu, the year of the horse one, as well. As someone who doesn't live in America, I'm really not going to get the symbolism horses, however I do like the stablemates Americana horses. I also really love the rest of the stablemates, with my favourites being the black Django, the mini othello, the walking TB, the semi rearing mustang and the fighter from the mountain Ranch Gift Set.
