Copy Show & Conclude Judging in Batches

Hello Admins!

I have a couple of requests for your consideration:

  1. I'd love the ability to Copy a previous show when setting up a new one, rather than having to create every one from scratch.
  2. I'd love to be able to conclude classes in batches / bulk when judging. For instance, say there was a checkbox for each class, you could select them, and do a "Conclude Selected" button. This would be especially helpful for themed divisions that don't get entries or many entries - Clicking through a number of empty classes becomes tedious.

Thanks for the consideration! :)

Number 1 is possible in multiple ways. You can save your show locally to your browser and load that save in a new show. This does rely on your browser having enough local storage and on your cache/cookies not clearing in between when you save it and when you need it. There is a way to pull the save from your browser and save it as a file on your computer, but it does require a lot more steps and isn't as easy for the average person (though very possible! I can send the full instructions; this is the most foolproof way of making sure your save never disappears). Somewhat easier, you can also do this by emailing omhps@omhps.com, and ask for any previous show of yours to be duplicated. Keep in mind that it will be duplicated exactly as it was finished, so if you split any classes while judging, those will also be copied over. But it is still editable like any other show.

Ah, thank you! I will be in touch to learn about saving to my computer! (And if I can't figure that out to have it duplicated xD ) Cheers!

Pipapones,

Could you also send me those instructions on how to save shows saved locally on my browser to my hard drive? I lost all my saved shows when my computer crashed two years ago, so a more permanent method of storage would be fantastic!

Many thanks!
