Premium price increase/tiers & ideas

Hello!
I have read the newest post and I want to say that I, as well as many other showers I'm sure, will be happy to pay more for the Premium membership or upgrade to new, higher tier.

For me, OMHPS is one of best parts of this hobby - I simply love this site and how it made showing accessible worldwide. Seeing it evolve for those 5 years was great and I'd love to see it improve further for many years to come, which means I'll be happy to help support it even without more benefits.

I know some people might feel uncomfortable with the idea of accepting simple donations, so if you'd prefer to rather go the way of tier/upgraded Premiums, here are a few ideas that came to mind for what could be included. I know nothing of programming and hosting such big website tho, so I'm not sure how possible those are to do - and of course, it's not something I'd expect to get. Just some fun ideas :)

1. More Premium-only shows
   Definitely that would be the best and biggest thing I can think of. There are more and more shows, but recently most of them are $10+ without any real prizes etc. Sadly for my economy/budget, it's a lot to spend on a show without even digital certificates or reputable judges. Having free Premium only shows would definitely be amazing, as entering every new show is exciting, but especially one that I can trust in, and OMHPS shows are definitely like that :)
   If judging is too big to take on by OMHPS staff themselves, I'm sure there are many experienced users happy to help out with that (including me!). If not for free, maybe profile badges/rewards could be used for it as a thank you? I would love to collect some to decorate the profile! ;)
2. Option to feature/favourite models on the profile page
   Not sure how possible/easy this one is, but it would be cool to be able to feature chosen models on our profile, not just the highest scoring ones.
3. Premium-only forum thread
   Could be a nice place to share some behind the scenes updates about the website, or what's currently in the works, or what is planned. Would be also a good place for OMHPS crew to ask for first opinions about changes/plans if needed/wanted.
4. Special premium rankings
   More for the future, when rankings are more advanced - some special premium rankings, just limited to premium users or for some specific groups (best of US, best of EU, maybe something else but I don't have anything specific in mind right now)
5. Adding "badges" to legacy records
   Maybe there could be an option to add custom badges for legacy records, so they can show up on model's profile just like normal/custom show placings do? It would be lovely to have legacy records included, as right now they get a bit burried and forgotten at the very bottom of model's page and often are pretty important, as those are mostly from Live Shows.
6. DQ hiding option
   Again, not sure if it's possible at all, but it could be a nice option for Premium members - sometimes the DQ staying in the results is really annoying, and most of the time it doesn't say anything about model's placing potential at all (as most of the time it's just owner error with wrong class, or perspective difference between rare entry and judge's preference). It would be really nice to have an option to hide the DQ's from the profile only.

Those are just a few first ideas that came to my mind, which wouldn't be extreme difference from stuff offered for free, but could be a nice thing for users putting more into the website ^^

I would also be willing to pay more or upgrade to a higher tier to support the site - I like many of Endless's suggestions.

I'd add that being able to conclude classes in batches when judging is still on my wishlist, and that could maybe become a higher tier premium feature if it's even possible?

We don't have live shows where I live, so OMHPS allows me to participate in the competitive side of the hobby. :)

1. Totally on our list and we agree it would be a great incentive for Premium. We are thinking, to be manageable, bi-monthly shows with Premium-only digital ribbons different than the usual default ones.
2. This is actually already possible with regular Premium! When you edit your profile, there is a box below the text field where you can select a group or groups to feature on your page. You can make a group that has whatever models you want featured on your profile and select it as the featured group.
3. Great idea!
4. Will have to discuss if this is possible with the programmer, but I like this idea of having Premium-only scoreboards :)
5. This is a nice idea, though we dismissed it in the past as Legacy records are entirely self-made and someone could easily spam their records to be overflowing with ribbon/badge images. It was always meant to be more of a record-keeping place for the user rather than a showcase, but I get the desire and there may be a way to revisit the idea if you have any suggestions.
6. Definitely not a bad idea and we will look into it!

Additionally, I really like the suggestion from Discord - advertising option. That's a good win - win situation. The website gets additional funding and vendors get good advertisement access to a very specific part of model horse community.

I know I'd definitely be interested to invest into something like this long-term :)

I would be happy to continue to support this site. I get so much joy out of it. I don't know how practical some of my ideas are but I thought I would throw them out there.

I am a data person and would love to be able to download reports, and filter by like how many points etc.

I would love a field to add what the mold is, like an optional field, like being able to tag Fireheart and Blue Zeus as Mustang Stallion, particularly on models where I have renamed them and have a bunch of a mold.

For a premium feature, I have no idea how many people are premium but it could be really cool to be able to submit like a set amount of models for a critique? Like once a year you can submit like 5 models or something to cap it and with no due date so like when ever someone has a chance to take a look. Like there are some models that I can't get to place in a show and it would be nice to know if there is something I could fix, though obviously Judge's discretion plays a huge part. Again I don't know what scale of this is so it could be a huge lift.

Throwing my .02

I would happily pay more for a premium membership if:

1.) the ability to save as template when creating a show. This would be a HUGE timesaver for showholders who want to host a show on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.

2) the ability to assign a specific division or section to a specific judge

3) the ability to split out a class more than once.

Love all the ideas and especially those from Endless and appaloosa. I would also be happy to pay for a higher tier premium with more benefits. The idea of having a separate space for advertisers of model-related products or services would be fantastic—sort of a OMHPS Marketplace— and would probably be my go-to spot if looking for these types of items—tack, custom work, props, custom models, etc.

Also love the idea of show templates. I haven’t been hosting shows lately because of the amount of time required to build a show, but if templates were a possibility I think hosting would be much more doable for me again.

Along the lines of the OMHPS marketplace idea, I’d also love to see a “model sales” feature where OMHPS members could advertise models they have for sale. Huge benefit for both buyers and sellers that are OMHPS members since the site allows the transfer of models, points and records to (or from) other members. I’d be happy to pay an additional fee or a higher premium tier level to have access to such a marketplace.
