Scammy activity? BE CAREFUL!

EDIT: they "attempted to send again" and then sent me a link I had to open to "Accept payment" I blocked them as this is absolutely scammer activity. so heads up everyone!

I've gotten an email from someone claiming to have paid for show entry (they are a real user, but only have one model) its not in my paypal anywhere and they sent me a pdf attachment to show proof that they paid and are saying that I have to accept the payment...

That has my scam red alert lights on high (obv I didn't open the attachment) but I don't do a lot of international dealings so I'm not sure if this IS ever a real thing?

Thoughts? Anyone ever have something like this from someone on this site?

(I get dozens of scam emails per week about my publishing, so I don't know if that's making me paranoid or making other scams more obvious)

I would definitely not click on the link!
